This is a large, highly integrated healthcare system in Connecticut featuring seven acute care hospitals, including one of the largest academic and surgical hospitals in the northeast, thriving community teaching hospitals, and one of the largest multi-specialty medical groups in New England with more than 1,500 providers. The Infectious Disease Department is comprised of a dynamic team of 20 physicians working within a progressive, physician-led environment deeply committed to inclusion, innovation, and the highest quality of care.

Physician – Infectious Disease

Job Details:

• Per diem Infectious Disease Physician opportunity in Connecticut
• Provide inpatient consultations across multiple hospital locations within the health system
• Perform Wound Care and Antimicrobial Stewardship responsibilities
• Assist with Infection Prevention activities and hospital epidemiology programs
• Collaborate with an active Hospitalist program to care for inpatients
• Participate in shared call with other Infectious Disease physicians
• Report to the Chief of Infectious Disease
• Board Certified or Board Eligible Infectious Disease Physician required
• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Connecticut

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
